Introducing you, the webinar speaker, Dr. Nur Fatihah Mohd Yusoff has been trained as a plant molecular physiologist with basic training in whole genome sequencing data analysis during her postgraduate studies. She later enhanced her bioinformatics skills through postdoctoral training. Her projects focus mainly on plant research by undertaking various studies including molecular biology, physiology, genomics and transcriptomics on rice and chili as well as legume, banana and citrus plants. She also engages in non-plant projects including zebrafish and shipworm as a co-researcher to contribute in bioinformatic analyses. She has published in local and international journals and presented her works in different conferences. She also has been involved as speaker and facilitator in various molecular biology and bioinformatics workshops.
